Train The Assessor Package
In training employees to assess risk, we focus on removing barriers to healthy posture and movement, whether that be workspace and equipment factors, or movement habits.
MoveSafe’s Train the Assessor package prepares a small group of employees to be able to do the following:
Educate their colleagues in low-risk posture and positioning for computer work.
Lead their colleagues and peers through appropriate recovery exercises.
Perform basic office ergonomics assessments unassisted.
The training package includes:
One full day of instruction for leaders - partly classroom lecture and partly practical application.
A separate 2 hour leader follow-up visit to mentor, progress training, troubleshoot and answer questions.
A 1 hour 'kick off' training session for all remaining employees, introducing the concepts and educating them on basic ergonomics principles (typically same date as leader follow-up).
A suite of print & video materials to help ensure a durable training result.
I really appreciate your efforts, and I agree fully with all the concepts you teach. There is nothing more that I would love, than to get the culture of everyone here in woodlands to be proactive about preparing yourself physically for the job – office or fieldwork…it’s the root to many of the injuries we see.

Participants will learn how to set up their workstation to encourage healthy positioning as well as learn practical habits for movement so they can “give their body what it needs while still getting their work done”.
The best value for your committee is to learn how to create awareness around healthy posture and movement to prevent soft tissue injuries.
Participants will gain practical knowledge on how to use their bodies properly and how to implement healthy movement habits to improve their quality of life.
