Principal Consultant

Rachel joined MoveSafe as a Certified Athletic Therapist in Calgary, Alberta. Rachel was an avid martial artist growing up and dabbled in a variety of sports such as field hockey, badminton, as well as track and field. With a passion for sports and helping people, becoming an Athletic Therapist was natural. Rachel’s interest in injury prevention led her to MoveSafe where she helps industrial athletes stay injury-free using the MoveSafe Main Elements for movement safety.

As a Principal Consultant, Rachel assists clients with developing safer movement habits through education, biomechanics screening, and exercise prescription. Rachel also provides ergonomic support for numerous clients as well as job coaching and injury assessments. Along with managing MoveSafe’s Alberta division, she is also the Director of MoveSafe Programs in the USA. Rachel is currently in her last year of her Masters degree in Health Ergonomics.

When not working or studying, Rachel enjoys being active with recreational activities such as hiking, snowboarding, biking, and playing slo-pitch. She also loves beer tasting and board games!
